Mobile Emergency Puncture Repair

Don’t replace it if you can repair it. Safe, permanent tyre repairs at your home, work, or roadside.

The Cost-Effective Solution to a Flat Tyre

Finding a nail or screw embedded in your tyre is a sinking feeling. Many drivers assume that a flat tyre automatically means buying a brand new one, which can be an expensive unexpected cost.

This is not always the case.

At Mobile Tyre Service UK, we believe in saving you money where safety permits. If your tyre is in good condition and the puncture is small, we can perform a professional Mobile Emergency Puncture Repair right where you are parked.

We bring the workshop to you. Whether you are stuck on a driveway in Woking or a business park in Weybridge, our technicians can assess, remove, and repair your tyre in roughly 30–45 minutes, getting you back on the road for a fraction of the cost of a new premium tyre.

We Repair to British Standard BS AU 159

Tyre repair is not just about plugging a hole; it is about ensuring the structural integrity of the tyre remains intact. We strictly adhere to BS AU 159g, the UK’s governing standard for safe tyre repairs.

The "Safe Zone" Rule:

We can only repair a puncture if it meets specific safety criteria:

  1. Location: The puncture must be within the central 3/4 of the tyre tread (the “minor repair area”).
  2. Size: The hole must be no larger than 6mm in diameter.
  3. Angle: The penetration angle must allow for a secure seal.

What We Cannot Repair (For Your Safety):

  • Sidewall Damage: Punctures or bulges on the side of the tyre are structurally unsafe and cannot be repaired.
  • Run-Flat Damage: If you have driven on the tyre while it was flat, the internal sidewall often crumbles (turning to rubber dust). This destroys the tyre’s strength. We will inspect inside the tyre to check for this.
  • Previous Repairs: We cannot repair a puncture if it overlaps with an old patch.

If your tyre cannot be repaired safely, don’t worry—our vans stock a wide range of new tyres, so we can swap it for a replacement immediately.

Professional "Mushroom Plug" Repairs – Not Temporary Fixes

There is a big difference between a temporary roadside “string” fix and a professional repair. We perform the latter.

When you call Mobile Tyre Service UK, our process is thorough:

  1. Wheel Removal: We jack up your car and remove the wheel.
  2. Tyre Removal: We strip the tyre off the alloy rim using our mobile tyre changing machine.
  3. Internal Inspection: We examine the inside of the tyre for hidden damage (like run-flat degradation).
  4. Drill & Buff: We clean the puncture channel and buff the inner liner to create a clean surface.
  5. The Patch: We use a rubber mushroom plug-patch. This is pulled through from the inside out. The “stem” fills the hole to prevent water entering and rusting the steel belts, while the “patch” seals the air inside.
  6. Refit & Balance: We put the tyre back on the rim, re-balance the wheel electronically, and refit it to your car.

This repair is permanent. It lasts for the remaining life of the tyre and is safe for motorway driving.

Why Call Us Instead of a Garage?

  • Convenience: You don’t have to put on the spare wheel or wait for a tow truck to take you to a tyre shop. We come to your house, your office car park, or the roadside.
  • Speed: We offer a rapid response service across Surrey and the M25. We aim to be with you in 30–60 minutes.
  • 24/7 Availability: Punctures often happen at night or on weekends when standard garages are closed. We are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Honesty: We will never try to sell you a new tyre if your current one can be safely repaired.

Local Puncture Repair Experts

We are locally based in Surrey, ensuring fast response times to the following areas:

  • Woking: Fast repairs for commuters and residents in the town centre and surrounding villages.
  • Weybridge: Serving the residential estates and business parks (like Brooklands).
  • Epsom: Covering Epsom Downs, Ewell, and the town centre.
  • Surrey Hills & Villages: We come to rural locations where getting to a garage on a flat tyre is impossible.

M25 South: If you are in a safe location (like a service station or lay-by) off the motorway, we can assist.
